In 2025, I sadly lost a dear friend and work colleague, Elin to breast cancer. In her memory, LHP have chosen to raise money for Hywel Dda Health Charities, Chemotherapy Unit and Special Care Baby Unit.

This cause is particularly close to my heart as over the last year I have also received major surgery for preventative breast cancer.

As a result of my own illness, my training over the past few months has been much harder than normal. But I'm determined to take on the Cardiff Half Marathon in memory of Elin.

Any support, no matter how small, would mean so much to me.
