Story
Friends, I have made a decision I may regret.
After 8 months out with a calf injury, I’ve signed up to run the Bristol 10k… with exactly ONE month to train.
Why have I made such a foolish life choice you ask? To raise money and awareness for two charities I care deeply about: Next Link and Missing Link.
Missing Link runs Bristol’s only domestic abuse refuge, while Next Link provides outreach services, a 24-hour helpline, and support for children affected by abuse. Together, they help thousands of women and children every year.
1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime in the UK. Organisations like these provide a lifeline to vulnerable women, empowering them to escape abuse and rebuild their lives.
Any donation, no matter how much, helps fund these life-saving and transformative services. Please give what you can, and sponsor my inevitable suffering around the harbourside.
I’m not adding my Strava to this page for privacy reasons, but get in contact and I’ll add you if you want to follow my training!
