London to Brighton 2025 · 15 June 2025 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Hello all, shwmae pawb. On the 15th of June I am cycling from London to Brighton with my friend Dave to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. I will be training for this by going to Brussels to watch Wales play Belgium the Monday before the big ride, like all the top athletes do. The above photo is of the two of us after finishing last year - WE GO AGAIN. It’s a great day, for a brilliant cause. Dave is a jazz drummer who will talk to me about the British jazz scene as I push my body to its limit. Imagine if Chris Boardman or Geraint Thomas had had that.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks, diolch yn fawr!
