Minnie’s mad mud run for Tiny Lives

Elisabeth Welters is raising money for Tiny Lives
Tiny Lives is a charitable trust that helps to care for 800+ premature and sick newborn babies and their families each year. It supports the Newcastle Neonatal Service at Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary that cares for babies from across the North East and Cumbria.

Story

This year I have decided to take part in the Gelt Gladiator Lake District Mud Run. While I am enjoying myself getting thoroughly filthy I would like to raise a bit of much needed money for The Tiny Lives Trust. This amazing charity supported our family in 2011 when my twin sister and I were born 11 weeks early. We spent months in Newcastle’s RVI Ward 35 SCBU growing strong enough. to get home and the Tiny Lives charity enhanced our stay on the ward by provided much needed extras.
