This July, I will be going to Uganda together with other volunteers to make an empty field turn into a fun and colourful playground for kids who are less fortunate. Play has been reported to increase attendance, attention, and behaviour in kids, which is why this is so important.

To be able to make this happen, I need to raise £1750 for Play Action International. 59% of this goes towards playground materials and charitable activities, the other 41% goes towards in-country costs.

The difference you will make:

£5 will provide a games board for children to play in a relaxing environment

£15 will provide a drum set so children can dance to their own beats

£30 will provide tyre animals to send children on an imaginative safari

£50 will provide a seesaw as part of a new playground

£100 will provide play-based sessions, increasing parent and child interaction

£1,000 will provide an adventure assault course for children to run, jump and play
