We are raising money for Reverse Rett which is a patient advocacy and research organisation focused on delivering treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome to everyone affected.

Emelia is our friends Steph & Alvin’s daughter. She is the most gorgeous little girl who was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome when she was 2 years old. Emelia is now 7 years old. Rett Syndrome is a neurological condition which most often strikes previously healthy little girls between their first and second birthday, leaving them with multiple disabilities and medical complexities for life.

Emelia’s favourite things to do are being out and about, watching Peppa pig and she just loves her food which means that she loves when mum & dad bring home treats from milk & honey for her!

This year a gene therapy is being trialed in Canada which has offered a realistic possibility that people living with Rett syndrome can have a much better quality of life in the future for the first time.
