I'm running the York 10 mile on October 20th and fundraising for the Friends of St Monica's Hospital. This charity supports St Monica's Hospital, Easingwold - a small community hospital where patients with long-term conditions can receive support and care closer to their homes. The charity also provides grants to multiple local projects including a pioneering scheme supporting people with frailty, as well as local sport clubs.

Having worked at St Monica's in my free time, I know the excellent standard of care and the love with which their staff serve the patients. Any financial support is gratefully received and will allow the Friends of St Monica's Hospital to continue supporting the patients and local community.
