Martin House Yorkshire Three Peaks · 7 June 2025 ·
Martin House provides essential care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and supports their families to live well and fully — making the most of every moment together. They’re there not just in times of crisis, but every step of the way, offering expert care, love, and understanding. They're half way to raising £2 million to transform the hospice into a modern, comfortable haven for families when they need it most. And the build is already underway.

Roman is taking on a mini triathlon - swimming, biking and running like a superstar.
He's showing everyone that with a big smile and a big heart, anything is possible. Please cheer him on and support his amazing adventure - every shout, share, and donation will help him fly across that finish line for a great cause.
This will be Romans contribution to Team Sammys summit squad, as he will not be able to manage that challenge as detailed below. Although those at the top will be able to hear Roman screaming encouragement from base camp, even without the Walkie Talkies!
On June 7th 2025, we’re taking on the Yorkshire Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Martin House — inspired by the incredible Sammy Evans and his wonderful family: Mizz, Will, Jack, and Ellie.
This isn’t your average hike. Sammy will be leading the way in his flame-red chariot, and we’ll be carrying 65kg of Sammy plus his wheelchair & equipment up a Yorkshire Peak — together.
Even more amazing? The team getting him to the top are his friends, aged 6 to 17, supported by a few adults carrying the essentials. Sammy loves nothing more than a gathering of his favourite people and a big adventure outdoors — so this challenge couldn’t be more perfect.
In December 2024, Sammy’s family faced an absolutely devastating time. It’s no exaggeration to say that it was the care, compassion, and expertise of Martin House that kept Sammy with us — and made it possible for us to even dream of this challenge. As his dad Will said, they turned what could’ve been the worst Christmas into “the best Christmas ever.”
Now, Sammy, his family and friends want to give back. Together, we’re determined to raise money to help Martin House continue their extraordinary work — so other families can have the same chance to live fully and face life’s toughest moments with the right support.
Please help Sammy reach the summit — and help Martin House continue reaching families when they need it most. Donate now and be part of something amazing.
