Story
I’m running the London Marathon in support of a cause that is deeply personal to me and my family — raising funds to fight Huntington’s disease.
Huntington’s has taken so much from us. We have lost multiple family members to this cruel disease, including my mum. Watching someone you love battle Huntington’s is heartbreaking — it slowly steals their independence, their abilities, and so much of what makes them who they are.
Now, my brother is facing the same fight. Seeing him live with this disease is both devastating and motivating. It’s why this marathon is more than just 26.2 miles for me. Every mile I run is for my mum, for my brother, and for everyone affected by Huntington’s.
I’m raising funds to support vital research, improve care, and bring hope to families like mine. Any donation, no matter the size, will help make a difference. Thank you for your support — it truly means more than words can say.
Thank you,
Eliza x
