In April 2025 I am heading to Croatia with a fundraising gang and team from EHAAT to raise money on behalf of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

Did you know that:

> EHAAT rely on donations & fundraising to keep them running (the helicopters and rapid response vehicles too)

> It costs £1m+ per month to keep operating

> Each time it flies costs an average of £2,800

> Their aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Their stats from 2023:

> 2,705 missions

> 1,105 medical emergencies

> 549 road collisions

> 427 accidental injuries

I may have never needed their help, and I pray my loved ones and I never will; but I also hope that EHAAT are there for anyone who ever needs them.

FYI - I am fundraising for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance – registered charity number 1108989. I am raising £3000 to take part in the Croatia Mountain Trek in April 2025. The cost of the expedition is £1524 (based on 20 people trekking) and will come out of the funds raised.
