The Amey Aqua Alliance are taking on a 21 minute Sea Dip at Helen's Bay, County Down on Saturday 1st June at 10.30 a.m. The seven strong team members are Elizabeth Cardwell, Gareth Mott, Gareth Watson, Stuart Lappin, Christian Megaw, Sean McShane and Jonny Kelly. The challenge is to complete a sea dip lasting a total of 21 minutes. The significance of the 21 minutes, represents the correct terms for Down Syndrome, Trisomy 21.

Mencap NI provides services to support people with a learning disability. From early years and youth programmes to support in adult life, to living independently, finding a job and getting involved in the local community.

This particular charity is very personal to our team member Elizabeth, whose daughter Eve was born with Down Syndrome last February.
