After taking up marathon running later in life, I have now officially got the bug. Having completed London in 2023 and New York in 2024 I am going for my 3rd star in Chicago in 2025. Whilst I have absolutely enjoyed the discipline and challenge training for a marathon has brought, my main motivation has been to give something back, and raise funds for charities close to my heart.

Street Child is a wonderful charity, with a purpose is to see all children safe, in school and learning - even, and especially, in low-resource environments and emergencies.

The charity works with an expanding network of 95+ local organisations for lasting impact in 20 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.
