Story
4 weeks from today, I’ll be taking part in the Manchester Marathon in support of an incredible cause that means so much to me (Reuben’s Retreat) ❤️
Over the past three months, I’ve been quietly training, feeling incredibly grateful to run through some beautiful places during our travels in the camper van. Little signs along the way too #23 💙
This a personal challenge that I want to achieve. I’ll be running in memory of the people we have loved and lost, holding them close in my thoughts with every mile.
Reuben’s Retreat does such vital work supporting families through unimaginable loss, and I’m honoured to play even a small part in helping them continue their mission.
If you’re able to support me, whether by donating or simply sharing this post, it would mean so much to me.
Thank you
Liz ❤️
Reuben’s Retreat was founded in August 2012, just 2 days after Reuben Graham died aged just 23 months old. His Mummy Nicola created the charity to help others who are facing or already dealing with similar heartbreak, walking side-by-side with families offering emotional and practical support for parents and siblings bereaved of a child and for families of life limited or threatened children who face uncertain futures. To find out more about this incredible charity, please visit their website www.reubensretreat.org or social media channels.
