Richard and I will be 60 on 6th August this year (120 in total!) - I know, it doesn't seem possible. After 60 years on the planet, we have pretty much all we need so we're not looking for gifts. SVP is a Community Development Trust which protects local wild spaces and helps people who are often marginalised in society, getting them back into meaningful work.

They are involved with dozens of projects across the Stroud District and we love the way they connect people with nature. They involve volunteers and meet a genuine community or conservation need.

Richard and I have spent much of our working lives on projects that enhance the environment and we love Stroud, so we feel particularly connected with SVP and it would mean a lot to us if, instead of giving us a gift for our 60th, you gave a gift to this charity.
