This June, I'm fundraising to support children in care by cycling 200 miles from Lincoln to York. Donations go to Become, the national charity for children in care and young care leavers. Having worked with children in care throughout my career , this is a cause that is close to my heart.

Every child and young person needs support, stability – and love. In care, sadly that doesn’t always happen. The charity Become directly helps care-experienced young people, giving them the support and stability they need to achieve their goals. They also amplify young people's voices and campaign for a better care system.
