Mouth Cancer is on the increase! Awareness and funds need to be raised!

As part of the Mouth Cancer Foundation’s 20th Anniversary of charitable status celebrations I am planning a challenging fundraiser during Mouth Cancer Action Month in November, to raise awareness and support for head and neck cancer patients and their families.

I run the charity on a day-to-day basis, with my colleague Laura, (who is aiming to raise 20 K for 20 years!) and have taken the original Mouth Cancer Foundation Walk from Home concept one step further. During Mouth Cancer Action Month in November 2025, I plan on running a10K and walking a 10K a day for 20 days. (I would like to think I could run 20K a day for 20 days, but not sure my knees would thank me!).

I would love for people to jump on the band wagon and take part in ‘20K a Day for 20 Days’ with me. Even put your own spin on the idea. I am planning to run and walk the distance, you might like to walk, run, cycle or swim 20K across 20 days throughout Mouth Cancer Action Month. The days need not be consecutive. Take rest days to renew your body and enjoy the challenge.
