Run the 2026 Copenhagen Superhalf for WellChild and help seriously ill children to thrive at home.

Story

In January 2024, I started the Couch to 5K programme. My dream had always been to run a marathon, but at the time it felt impossible because I wasn’t fit enough and didn’t know where to begin.

Little by little, I built my confidence and fitness, starting with shorter runs and eventually training for my first half marathon. During my journey, I discovered the SuperHalfs challenge, a series of half marathons across six European cities. It takes commitment, determination, and a love for running, and it became my personal goal to complete them all.

So far, I have completed four of the six races and have the fifth booked for March 2026. For the final one in Copenhagen, I wanted to make it even more meaningful by running for a cause I truly believe in, WellChild, a charity that helps seriously ill children thrive at home with their families through specialist nurses, family support, and life-changing projects.

Knowing that every step I take can help support their work gives this final challenge an even deeper purpose.

Any donation, big or small, will help make a real difference to these children and their families.

Your donation will help give this growing population of children and young people the best possible chance to thrive: properly supported at home, together with their families.

• £150 could provide a day of a WellChild Family Coordinator’s time to support families through the WellChild Family Tree

• £50 could fund a Parent Ambassador to host a local support group for parent carers in their region

• £20 could connect a WellChild Family to our vital information and support service, the WellChild Family Tree

Thank you so much for supporting me and WellChild on this journey 💜
