As some of you may already know my Aunt/namesake/Godmother/bestie lost her battle with cancer at the end of the Summer. It’s shocked all of us that despite all my Aunt’s illnesses in the past that she’s overcome, this is now something we are having to come to terms with as a family - she couldn't beat this one.

Barclays choosing Macmillan as their charity partner this year seemed like a sign. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without the support of the Macmillan palliative care nurses! Their support meant we got to bring my Aunt home for her final months 💚💚

Raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support (charity no. 261017) - supporting people living with cancer. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

A group of colleagues from Barclays are taking on a mighty trek in the peak district, hiking either a half marathon (13.1 miles) or a full marathon (26.2 miles).
