Story
My eldest grandson, Louis & I have signed up to abseil St. Chad's Church in Holt on 7th June 2025 in support of Nightingale House Hospice.
Nightingale House Hospice provides palliative care for those with life limiting illnesses.
It costs approx. £5.6 million per year to operate. The government provides approx. £1 million (20 %). The remaining costs are received from donations & fundraising activities.
Thanking you in advance of your support xx
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we want to thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to us at the hospice. Through the exceptional commitment of individuals like you we can continue delivering the specialist care our community relies on. We only ever get one chance to get palliative care right, and our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure every patient receives the care and dignity we would all want for our own loved one.
To mark this milestone, the hospice launched a special anniversary campaign: Longest Day, Lasting Care, which brings together a range of fundraising activities across the community, from school events and golf days to skydives, abseils, and ultra-marathons. Support is coming from every corner, including local groups, businesses, and individuals.
Thanks to the generous support of charitable trusts, foundations, and corporate sponsors, every donation made to the campaign will be match-funded so £1 = £2
