In October 2019, Elizabeth experienced a stroke, which led to almost two months in the specialist stroke rehabilitation ward at Southend Hospital. The love, care and attention the staff gave to her during recovery meant that Elizabeth enjoyed an additional seven years of post-stroke life.

All funds raised will go towards Mid & South Essex Hospitals Charity - specifically Benfleet and Paglesham Wards.
