Story
We are taking on the Antwerp 10 Miles to fundraise for Action on Postpartum Psychosis, a cause close to our family's heart. Between my husband, my siblings, their partners and siblings, and myself we will be running more than 80 miles (130km!) on the 27th of April, in Antwerp, Belgium.
We would be grateful for any donation you have to spare ☺️

A bit about our chosen charity:
Action on Postpartum Psychosis (APP) is a UK charity supporting and advocating for mums and families affected by postpartum psychosis – a severe but treatable form of mental illness that begins in the days and weeks after giving birth. It affects approximately 1400 new mums in the UK each year (1 to 2 in every 1,000 mothers). Symptoms include hallucinations and delusions, often with mania, depression or confusion. It can get worse very quickly and should always be treated as a medical emergency.
APP offer information and peer support, facilitate ground breaking research, raise awareness and campaign for improved services. Their life changing peer support network helps women and families affected by postpartum psychosis feel understood, supported and less isolated. APP also provide training in postpartum psychosis for healthcare professionals working with people in the perinatal period.
