Story
My grandpa, Richard Raworth, died on 1st May 2025. He was 83. He had Parkinson’s for the last 10 years of his life, although you wouldn’t have been able to tell. Grandpa never complained, he did everything he could to keep strong and keep moving. He even did a parachute jump when he was 73. Even in the last days of his life Grandpa insisted on trying to walk, even when it was almost impossible. It was inspiring to witness his determination and I will always remember that about him.
So I am going to challenge myself and do something I’ve never done before and run the London Marathon for him and to raise money for Cure Parkinson’s.
I’m running it with my mum, Sophie, who has run it many times before. And the plan is to finish it together!!
Thank you so much for your donations. I cannot tell you how much it means to my mum, me and our family.
