I am excited to partake in the 10 mile Walk of Life 2025 (from Bradford-on-Avon to Bath) to support the RUH Bath, along with some of my lovely colleagues at the St Monica Trust (SMT Striders).

At 4:24am on 5 September 2021 and, still in the realms of Covid, I gave birth to our beautiful boy, Reuben, in the RUH's maternity department. To say his birth was a little traumatic and happened quickly would be an understatement. Despite this, the wonderful midwives and medical team were absolutely incredible and I felt we were both in the best hands at such a difficult time.

The knowledge, care and support that we received from the RUH, both during and after our time in hospital, was nothing short of amazing and we will be forever grateful to them all for the care provided to Roo.

Together, the funds we help raise will make a real life impact. Every penny goes towards helping care for patients at the hospital and providing state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for loved ones. From transforming hospital wards, funding life changing research and innovative technologies, to providing mental health first aid training to staff and arts programmes for children and older people on our wards. With your help, we can make our care extra extraordinary for every patient, and support our hospital staff to do what they do best.
