Story
Every year 400,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer, leaving them feeling anxious and alone.
This spring, I am walking 400,000 steps to raise money for Cancer Support UK to provide practical and emotional support to those impacted.
While there can be relief when cancer treatment comes to an end, the weeks and months that follow can be far from straightforward. Many people who have experienced cancer can feel isolated, and struggle with low mood or anxiety, finding it hard to deal with what they have been through.
Cancer Support UK's free Cancer Coach service provides much needed emotional support post-treatment and it really helped me after I finished my cancer treatment and gave me some vital tools to move on.
Please help me raise money for this vital service.
