For those of you who know me, you'll know that I talk about work and the NHS and the amazing people, patients and their families, that I have met (often too much sometimes!) Since starting to work in haematology nearly 4 years ago. I have seen almost the full scope of human emotion and how people react and respond when finding out that they have blood cancer.

This charity, Blood Cancer UK, does amazing work in providing information and support for patients and their families. Their research over the last 20 years has massively improved treatment options and outcomes for patients with all forms of blood cancer. Running is not something that comes easily, but wanted to do one marathon in my life so here we go! Any support and donations would be hugely appreciated for this amazing cause.

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
