On the 21st of June, seven of us will be taking a leap - literally - by skydiving over 13,000ft in memory of my incredible dad (aka The Big Fella). We’re doing this to raise as much money as possible for LOROS, the hospice that cared for him in his final days and gave him the comfort, dignity and love that he deserved.

Though he was only at LOROS for a very short time, they helped not only provide him with medical support but gave him a sense of peace and for that we will always be eternally grateful. From the moment he arrived it was clear how much they truly care - not just for their patients, but for the families too. It brought us comfort knowing he was in the best hands and that LOROS was his final resting place.

Taking on this skydive feels like the perfect way to honour him - not just because it’s a huge challenge, but because he always encouraged us to live life to the fullest. We know that he’d be having a good laugh at the thought of us jumping out of a plane, but we also know he’d be incredibly proud.
