London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Our amazing London Marathon Team are aiming to raise an incredible £20,000 or more to help St Raphael's provide exceptional hospice care everyday.

Story

On Sunday 27th April 2025 I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my mum who passed away after a long and hard battle with cancer back in 2017.

I will be raising money for St Raphael's hospice who did the most incredible job in helping my mum, my family and myself, during and after the most difficult time in our lives. I am so excited to represent St Raphael’s Hospice in this big challenge.

there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think of my mum and how different life is with a piece missing but all I can do is keep the memory alive and do her proud. She was always my biggest supporter and the loudest in the crowd at my gym competitions and now I am so excited to do something dedicated to her for how much she fought and lost her life way too soon.

all your support means so much to me so please donate if you can, it’s all for a good cause and any donations and messages are so motivating.

as a gymnast, I have always hated long distance, so a marathon will be a huge mental and physical challenge for me as it is anyone!

This event has already tested me so much as I have already deferred my London Marathon 2024 ballot place as I suffered an injury in my foot called peroneal tendonopothy which stopped me running for 4 weeks leaving me with 6 weeks post recovery to get back up to scratch again, I was adamant I would get through this and I continued preparing for the big day. However, with less than 4 weeks left unfortunately i faced an accident which changed my life. I had no option but to defer the event to 2025.

Now I am back training again, slowly and carefully building it back up whilst my body still heals.. even with the lifelong challenges I now face which makes training and day to day life more challenging, I am enjoying it more than ever as I am grateful to still be here and do it for those who can’t be here with us & carry on with this opportunity all for my mum.

thanks again for all the support❤️
