Story
This year will mark six years since we lost my grandad. Although because of his Alzheimer’s, it feels as though we lost him long before that. He was the most charming man I have ever known, a talented saxophonist, engineer, a fabulous grandfather, father and friend to many.
Updated: My lovely Nan has just received a dementia diagnosis too so this means more to me than ever
This year will also marks 5 years since loosing my lovely Auntie Jean who also battled Alzheimer’s. I’m doing this sky dive to raise money with the hopes of helping other families in the future.
Here is some information provided by Alzheimer’s Society:
Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
We are the UK's leading dementia research charity. We exist for a cure.
Your donation helps our scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
