Story
I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025 in memory of my Grandad Pat and fundraising for Lymphoma Action.
My Grandad sadly passed away on 13th April 1969 from Hodgkin Lymphoma when he was only 28 years old. Being 29 years old now myself, it’s a strange feeling to have outlived a grandparent at a young age.
When my Grandad passed away, less was known about this disease and the treatment. Luckily, thanks to amazing charities such as Lymphoma Action, more is now known about Hodgkin Lymphoma and support is available for those affected.

This will be a challenge for me and the furthest I have ever run (ahhh!) so I would be really grateful for any donations to keep me going, and to raise as much money and awareness for Lymphoma Action as possible.
We are the UK's only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the 5th most common cancer. We’ve been providing trusted information and support for over 35 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma. Our mission is to make sure no one faces lymphoma alone.
