The SSC is a youth work charity that has been a HUGE part of my life. It’s summer camps gave me confidence to be myself as a teenager; and as an adult it has given my cherished friendships and a community I am very proud to be a part of.

The SSC runs inclusive summer camps for young people aged between 11 and 18 years old. It prides itself on being something a bit different. It helps young people build on their own confidence, learn lots of amazing new skills, all while building lasting friends and most importantly, having fun!

Every year, as a Club we fundraise to create a fund to be able to offer full and part funded places at camp. We believe that money should never be the barrier to young people attending SSC events.

I will be taking part in the Big Stroll at the Edinburgh KiltWalk and would be grateful for any donation - no matter how big or how small!

I would like to raise £380 if I can, as that would fund a full week for someone who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend.
