We raise funds for St George's Hospital to improve outcomes in neurosurgery

Story

Hello everyone,

I'm taking on this year's London marathon for team Project21forLife to raise funds for the John King Brain Tumour Foundation.

Richard Sullivan, a very special part of our family, set up Project21forlife to help those affected by brains tumours and their families.

Less than 3% of annual cancer research funding in the UK is allocated to brain tumour cancers - Project21forlife and John King Brain Tumour Foundation are working to make a difference.

Richard has spearheaded the development of the 'Forest in the Sky' roof garden next to the Neuro ICU at St George's Hospital, Tooting. The garden, due to open later this year, will provide a restful space for critical care patients, carers and loved ones.

All funds raised will support the 'Forest in the Sky' garden, as well fundraising for neurological equipment and maintaining the McKissock Ward Roof Garden at St George's.

Any donation is greatly appreciated and will continue to support Richard's and JKBTF's exemplary efforts in this area.

See you all on the finishing line!

About the charity

We support the Atkinson Morley Wing at St George’s Hospital London who treat brain diseases and disorders. We aim to raise much needed funds to support the advancement of treatment and research and to purchase equipment for paediatric and adult neurosurgery not available through the NHS.
