Story

Next April, I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

This charity is one that’s very close to my family. In November 2019, my dad suffered a sudden cardiac arrest shortly after returning home from a run. Thanks to our close family friend who is a nurse, members of the public who stopped to help, and the emergency services, his life was saved.

After suffering multiple cardiac arrests and spending 3 weeks in hospital, he made an incredible recovery. We know how fortunate we are that he’s still with us. Since then, he’s even started running again!

The British Heart Foundation funds vital research into heart and circulatory diseases, helping to improve treatments and save lives.

Over the coming months, I’ll be fundraising in different ways, including raffles and auctions. If you’d like to support by donating, sharing my page, or offering a raffle prize, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks for your support!

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
