On 27th October myself James John and Jack are running the Stroud half marathon for the Longfield hospice. It’s a charity that is close to our hearts for the way they cared for my mum during her last weeks. The team were not always the same but whoever came were caring polite and chatty and made mum feel at ease that she used to look forward to seeing them and provided amazing care in the comfort of her own home. It was with the support of Longfield and the district nurses that enabled mum to fulfil her wish not to be hospitalised.
