I will be running the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run Half Marathon to support Friends of Alalay (Santa Cruz). This charity, led by a local woman to me, has opened my eyes to the struggles faced by thousands of children in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. These children often sleep on the streets or in drains, forced to steal or beg for food to survive.

Friends of Alalay is making a real difference by providing education and skills development, ensuring that these ex-street children have access to health services and other essential needs. They also focus on identifying and establishing practical production projects that not only become self-financing but also teach valuable new skills to the children.
