Ellia's Actually Running for Cheltenham Animal Shelter

Couch to 5K (6 week Challenge) 20 April - 1 June
Last year was a 10-mile walk and we managed to raise over £300 for nature, this year I’m challenging myself to raise the same amount for Cheltenham Animal Shelter by doing a couch to 5km in just 6 weeks!! Those who know me know just what a huge deal this is. For those who lack the historical context, I’m pretty sure I walked every school sports day race I was ever forced to participate in…
As I’m about to turn 30 (I’m not sure if this counts as a midlife crisis) I’ve set myself a huge personal challenge for a great cause - and I’d love your support!
Since 1926, Cheltenham Animal Shelter has been helping unwanted and abandoned cats, dogs and small animals find new homes.
They rescue and rehome over 650 abandoned, unwanted, or surrendered cats, dogs, and small pets each year. Some have found themselves homeless due to a change in family circumstances, others may have been badly mistreated and need urgent care, and some have been abandoned or are strays in need of help.
Cheltenham Animal Shelter receive NO government funding and rely SOLELY on donations and legacies!
£10 helps to vaccinate one pet
£15 helps to feed one dog for a month
£30 helps neuter an abandoned cat
I will be starting my 6 week program Sunday 20th April and finishing Sunday 1 June, and will be posting regular updates as I go.
Thank you in advance for your support - a small donation, or even sharing the link to my page, goes a long way in helping out these adorable animals.
