I have decided to run the 2026 Brighton marathon in memory of my dad and to raise much needed awareness and funds for the Polycystic Kidney Disease charity. This is a charity I and my family hold so close to our hearts.

My Dad sadly passed away on the 5th November 2025 and suffered from PKD.

Just over a year ago at the age of 21 my sister was diagnosed with ADPKD TYPE 1 and has had a big impact on her life. I want to turn this huge negative into a positive & raise as much awareness and funds in aid of finding new treatments and helping those who also have PKD, once this disease takes hold it really is life changing and can be life threatening.

Last year my sister did our family so proud and ran the Brighton 2025 marathon, I have some big boots to fill and It’s going to be a huge challenge for me but I hope to do my family proud x
