Story

In March 2024, I will be running a half-marathon across Bournemouth’s coastline, in memory of my incredible Grandma, Lorna Webber.

Courageous, talented and beautiful. Lorna is the brightest light that shines within any room, and she is loved and missed by us all.

My mind will never accept that you’re not here anymore, because you are always and will always be alive in my mind, heart and soul. Your legacy will live for eternity.

Did you know? There were 74,621 deaths due to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in the UK during 2022 – more than any other cause of death. Dementia is the only major cause of death without a treatment to prevent, slow or stop disease progression.

I’d be extremely grateful for your donation, so let’s help support those living with dementia and the families dealing with this difficult and complex disease by contributing today.
