The Plymouth half marathon is my annual challenge to raise money and awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity. It is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.

This charity is close to my heart as I work with brain tumour patients on a daily basis and see the hard journey they have to fight. It’s also in memory of my mum, Sue, who we lost to a brain tumour and who taught me I could do anything.
