Since 2019 we have been faced with challenges as a family in regard to bowel cancer. First my dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer, then my uncle and then my grandad. Sadly, my Grandad lost his battle in 2022

My Grandad was the one of the best. He was kind, funny, hardworking and just one of the greatest men.

I am taking on the challenge this year of not only running 26.2 miles across London I am running a total of 142 miles across various races throughout the year. Meaning I have either a marathon, half marathon or 10k race every month until November!

My charity of choice this year is Bowel Research UK and this will be in memory of my wonderful grandad.

This challenge will no doubt be hard on me, both mentally and physically but this is no where near a scratch on how people feel when they battle cancer.
