Story
We are putting on our kilts to raise vital funds to support our English language classes for adults on a low income. With every step, we will be helping people to build independent lives in Scotland.

About ESOL Scotland Ltd.
ESOL Scotland provides vital English language classes to adults so they can build their lives in Scotland. Our learners are refugees and people from ethnic minority backgrounds on a low income who need language skills for work, supporting their families and integrating into their communities. Our classes teach relevant skills like communicating with doctors and teachers, accessing services and applying for jobs.
We work with learners from literacy to intermediate levels as well as providing specialist course such as ESOL with digital skills, music, screen printing and barista training . We work with amazing partner organisations and over 60 dedicated volunteers and last year we reached over 800 adults.

"It helps me to have more confidence in myself, to understand and socialize with people, I understand more when it comes to helping my children with their homework."
We have been kiltwalking since 2020 and every blister has been worth it! We have raised over £15,000 which has supported refugee learners with digital access and provided first steps in learning with welcoming community classes.
This year ESOL Scotland staff are taking part in the Mighty Stride to help communities across Scotland build language for life.
Thank you for your support!
