Freds Golf Ball Sales for RABI

RABI, the farmers' charity, provides practical, financial and emotional support to farming people across England and Wales. In 2025, we supported 13,200 farming people and awarded £2.66 million in financial grants. Every donation helps us support farming people when they need us most.

Story

Fred has been collecting golf balls from a sheep field we rent (with permission) that borders a golf course. He has spent many hours collecting, cleaning and sorting them and has decided off his own back that he would like to sell them and donate all the money to RABI.

I appreciate lake balls aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but he’s desperate to sell them and would appreciate support from all our golfing friends and family! £3 for a small box and £5 for a large box. A variety of makes Taylor made, titliest, Nike, Callaway, Srixon.

Quite a few people have said they don’t want golf balls but would like to support Fred’s cause so can donate via this just giving page.

He will be continuing his collecting over the summer holidays!

Please let me or David know and we will pass your order onto Fred who will deliver (within reason 😂)

Farmers deliver an essential service: producing food for the nation. However, being a farmer can be isolating and challenging, even after retiring. RABI’s goal is that no-one from the farming community should face adversity alone.

Our support is tailored to the individual. We offer free counselling, practical and financial support to farming people. Our grant programmes and emergency support help people through a crisis. Our regional support managers provide practical advice and are a friendly face and a listening ear when things are tough.

Thank you
