Story
In November 2022, my Dad passed away after years of bravely battling both Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Since then, I’ve been determined to honour his memory and help others affected by these cruel diseases.
I’ve climbed Snowdon with my family and completed a 28-mile trek to raise money for Alzheimer’s research — and I’m so grateful to everyone who supported and donated along the way.
Now, I’m incredibly excited (and slightly nervous!) to share that on April 26th, 2026, I’ll be running my first ever marathon! 🏃♀️
All funds raised will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society, a cause that means the world to me and my family.
For those who know me personally… you’ll know I’m not exactly a runner (lol) — but I’m determined to give this everything I’ve got!
When I was younger, my Dad once took me to watch the London Marathon. He laughed and said, “I wonder if one day you’ll run the marathon like your cousin?” I remember pulling a face as if to say, “Not a chance!”— and yet, here I am, 15 years later, about to do exactly that.
Dad, I hope wherever you are, you can see me now. Every mile, every step, every ache and tear — it’s all for you. 🩵
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by donating whatever you can — every contribution, big or small, means so much.
Now… time to start training. Ahhhhh!!! 😅
