Story
May is EDS and HSD Awareness Month, and every year, the global community joins together to raise awareness and move the progress forward. Together, we can reduce delays in diagnosis, break down barriers to care, and fund essential education, advocacy, and research.
In 2026, we mark ten years of making a difference in the world, thanks to people like you. We invite you to join us in raising awareness and funds for a future in which diagnosis happens sooner, care is coordinated, and everyone is believed.
I live with hypermobile EDS, a condition that affects me every moment of every day. Despite how deeply it impacts so many lives, there’s still so much we don’t understand—more research is needed, more awareness is needed, and more action is needed.
That’s why I’ve set myself a challenge: I’m running and walking 100 miles this May to raise funds and awareness for EDS. Every mile is a step toward greater understanding and support for our community.
Please consider supporting my journey—whether by donating, sharing, or cheering me on. Any support you can give will help raise awareness, fund vital research, and shine a light on a condition that desperately needs more understanding. Together, we can make a difference.
