On the 18th September 2024 myself, my colleague and members of the Give us Time Team will be abseiling 289 feet to descend the Lloyds Building in London, for 'Give Us Time' which takes kindly donated holiday accommodation and matches them with military families in need. They help both veterans and serving personnel. They aim to support those who are bereaved, have physical or mental illnesses, financial need or have been separated for long periods of time. Their generous donors are owners of hotels, holiday homes and timeshares.

Give us time operate with only one full time member of staff and a handful of volunteers and in 2023 we sent over 250 families away on holiday. In 2024 they surpassed that number in April. Visit www.giveustime.org.uk to see some of their great family stories.
