On September 15th I will be running the Richmond Marathon, and raising money for City of Sanctuary in the process!

It took me some time to settle on a charity to fundraise for, but when I thought about all the causes close to my heart, both those far away and closer to home, it felt like the right decision to choose an organisation like City of Sanctuary:

Our networks are made up of thousands of ordinary people all around the country who are stepping up to support people seeking sanctuary in our communities. We work with individuals, groups and organisations in every area and in every sector to encourage inclusivity, solidarity and compassion for people from a forced displacement background.

Any donation would be much appreciated and I'm sure will add some extra fuel for my poor battered legs (hopefully) crossing the finish line.
