Story
This September, I’m walking 96 miles across the Scottish Highlands on the West Highland Way to support women and children escaping domestic abuse.
The statistics of domestic abuse in the UK are staggering, and sadly most of us know someone who has experienced it in some capacity in their lifetime, myself included.
For that very reason Coventry Haven are a charity very close to my heart, they do incredibly brave work, all in their venture of protecting women and children fleeing these dreadful circumstances.
Every step I take blisters and all, is for those who have had to take the most difficult steps of all leaving the life behind to find safety and dignity.
I'm aiming to raise £1500 for Coventry Haven, to help them continue their work in providing life-saving refuge, support and advocacy.
Please help me reach my goal, every donation truly makes a difference.
