Story
I can’t quite believe I’m taking on Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. At over 4,000 metres (14,000 feet), this will be my first ever mountain and my first big trek.
It’s a huge challenge and completely outside my comfort zone, both physically and mentally. I’ll be dealing with altitude for the first time, and I’m equal parts excited and nervous about what’s ahead.
I’ll be taking this on with my dad, which makes it even more special. I’ve seen first hand the impact that Head Outside has had on him, and how powerful the outdoors can be in bringing people together and supporting mental health.
That’s a big part of why I’m doing this. Mental health is something I really care about, and I want to help more people experience that same sense of connection and support.
Any support, big or small, would mean a lot and will help Head Outside continue bringing people together and supporting mental health through the outdoors.
