Story
Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This summer I have organised a golf day to raise money for St Luke's Hospice in loving memory of a dear friend Duncan Ingle who sadly passed away in June 2025.
I want to tell you a little bit about the man himself
Duncan Bryan Ingle was one in a million he would always go above and beyond to help others often driving his wife crazy as he never took time for himself, he was a man of simple pleasures cars, food, football, music, bad haircuts and of course golf which he was far better at than he claimed to be.
In late 2024 Duncan's world was turned upside when he was told he had a terminal brain tumour.
A few months later Duncan was transferred to St Luke's Hospice, it was here that Duncan met real life super heroes.
Over the following months the staff not only took care of Duncan but also Becky who never left his side. Even now whenever we visit St Luke's the staff speak so fondly of Duncan.
As I said Duncan always helped others so it only feels right for us to follow his example and give back to those who went above and beyond for him. Please help raise as many funds as possible for this amazing charity that solely runs on donations for the outstanding care they give.
