"This year is 10 year's since I was adopted. I want to raise money for the children who are desperately looking for their own forever homes. I was really lucky to find a family to call my own. It makes me sad to think that lots of children all over the country aren't able to be with their birth parents especially when it's not their fault. I want to raise money to help Adoption UK with their work so that many more children can grow up to be happy and loved like me."

Times are tough for every family but it’s especially challenging for those parenting children who have experienced neglect or abuse. Trauma experienced in their early lives has a lasting impact on their relationships, health and learning. That’s not fair! Adoption gives children a second chance of stability, permanence, and the love and nurture that all children need yet it’s not a simple quick fix.
