FOUR of our incredible scouts/explorers have been selected to represent the Central Yorkshire Contingent at the World Scout Jamboree in 2027. This is a massive honour for them.

Pontefract and Castleford is only a small district so have four selected to attend the jamboree is a fantastic achievement.

The scouts/explorers will be doing various fundraising activities and tasks over the next 18 months to raise the funds they need to attend the jamboree and any kit they need.

As a member of the UK contingent, part of their fees goes towards subsidising places from areas of the world less affluent than the UK. So any donations won't just be supporting our explorers, but explorers from around the world as well.
